About the Journal

International Journal of Computational Mathematical Ideas (IJCMI)

ISSN: 0974-8652 | Established: 2009 | Open Access | Double-Blind Peer Reviewed

International Journal of Computational Mathematical Ideas (IJCMI), bearing ISSN 0974-8652, is a peer-reviewed, open-access international research journal established in the year 2009. Over the past decade and a half, IJCMI has earned a distinguished reputation as a credible and rigorous platform for researchers, academicians, scientists, engineers, and industry professionals from across the world to publish and disseminate their original, high-quality research contributions. The journal publishes one volume per year, with three issues per volume, ensuring a continuous, timely, and structured flow of cutting-edge scientific knowledge to the global research community throughout the calendar year.

Aims and Scope

IJCMI (ISSN: 0974-8652) is committed to advancing the frontiers of knowledge at the confluence of computational mathematics, artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary sciences. The journal serves as a premier international forum for the exchange of innovative ideas, novel methodologies, and significant research findings that push the boundaries of science, technology, and engineering. It welcomes original research papers, comprehensive review articles, case studies, and short communications from researchers and practitioners spanning all continents and institutional affiliations. The subject coverage of IJCMI is broad and interdisciplinary, encompassing Computational Mathematics and Numerical Methods, Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI, Machine Learning and Statistical Learning Theory, Deep Learning and Neural Network Architectures, Reinforcement Learning and Optimization, Graph Theory and Combinatorial Mathematics, Computational Physics and Mathematical Modelling, Computational Chemistry and Molecular Simulation, Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models, Generative AI and Diffusion Models, Data Science and Big Data Analytics, and all other Emerging Technologies in Computing and Engineering. The journal particularly encourages submissions that bridge theoretical foundations with practical real-world applications, and that demonstrate clear novelty, scientific rigour, and measurable contribution to the existing body of knowledge.

Publication Policy and Editorial Standards

IJCMI maintains the highest standards of research integrity, scholarly excellence, and publication ethics. The journal exclusively publishes manuscripts that present entirely novel, unpublished findings. Submissions that have been previously published, presented at conferences without significant extension, or are simultaneously under review with any other journal or venue are not considered for publication under any circumstances. IJCMI enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is subjected to rigorous plagiarism screening using industry-standard detection tools immediately upon receipt and prior to peer-review assignment. Any submission found to contain plagiarised content  whether in full or in part, whether from external sources or the authors' own previously published work is summarily rejected without proceeding to review, and the authors are duly notified.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

IJCMI operates as a fully open-access international journal. In order to support the operational costs associated with professional peer-review management, editorial processing, manuscript typesetting, digital archiving, DOI assignment, and global open-access dissemination, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 1,000 (United States Dollars One Thousand Only) is applicable. This charge is levied strictly upon final acceptance of the manuscript, following the successful completion of the peer-review process. There is no submission fee, no review fee, and no rejection fee of any kind — authors incur no financial obligation unless and until their manuscript is formally accepted for publication. The APC covers the complete publication lifecycle, including professional copyediting and language proofreading, XML, HTML, and PDF typesetting and formatting, Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assignment, permanent open-access hosting, global indexing in international research databases, and long-term digital archiving and preservation.

Upon payment of the APC and final publication, the article is made freely and permanently available online to readers worldwide, without any subscription barrier, thereby maximising global research visibility, readership, and citation potential. Authors retain full copyright of their published work and grant IJCMI a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, and archive the article in all formats. IJCMI also recognises the financial constraints faced by researchers from developing nations and early-career scholars. Partial or full APC waivers may be considered on a case-by-case basis, entirely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief. Researchers seeking a waiver are encouraged to write directly to the Editor-in-Chief with a brief, honest statement of request at the time of manuscript submission. APC payment details are communicated to the corresponding author along with the official acceptance letter, and payment is expected to be completed within fifteen working days of receipt of the acceptance notification in order to proceed with typesetting and publication scheduling.

Instructions for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original research contributions that make a significant, clearly articulated, and well-evidenced contribution to their respective fields. All manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English and must represent original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Submissions must include a structured abstract covering the Objective, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion of the study, followed by appropriate and complete references formatted as per the journal's prescribed style. Authors must declare all conflicts of interest and sources of funding, and must confirm compliance with applicable ethical research standards and institutional approvals. The journal ISSN (0974-8652) should be cited in the cover letter for correspondence tracking purposes. Manuscripts that do not meet these fundamental requirements will be returned to authors without proceeding to peer review. All correspondence regarding manuscript submission, revision, and publication should be directed to the Editor-in-Chief at the official contact address provided below.
